Journey

Reflections from Nepal

In Nepal, I volunteered at schools and rural villages, distributing supplies and engaging with students. Beyond helping, I realized how much I had taken my own privileges for granted. This experience taught me that education and opportunity are not universal—and strengthened my resolve to contribute where I can.

This journey continues to shape how I view responsibility, privilege, and community.

Investment Reflections

In early 2023, I began documenting my investment journey, initially driven by curiosity about how markets move. Over time, it became a study of patience, analysis, and decision-making under uncertainty. Tracking each choice taught me to see investing not as prediction, but as reflection—a discipline of learning from outcomes and thinking long-term.

It’s been about two months since I bought my first shares of Apple, NVIDIA, and Tesla through 영웅문S 글로벌, and today I checked my portfolio again.
To my surprise — everything’s up.

Here’s what it looks like right now:

CompanySharesPrice ThenPrice NowValueChange
Apple (AAPL)281$142.28$162.03$45,509$5,509
NVIDIA (NVDA)2,048$19.52$27.84$57,006$17,006
Tesla (TSLA)115$173.22$184.51$21,218$1,218

Total Portfolio Value: $123,733 → Profit: +$23,733 (+23.7%)

I couldn’t believe it. In just two months, my portfolio went up more than 20%.
For a moment, I felt like some kind of genius investor.

But the truth is, I still don’t really understand why.
I started watching Bloomberg and CNBC, trying to figure out what’s driving this. They talk about the AI boom, strong iPhone demand, and something about interest rates and inflation.
It all sounds important, but I still can’t connect how those words make the prices move.

When I told Mom that my investments were doing well, she just smiled and said,

“Enjoy it, but don’t mistake luck for skill.”

She’s right — I didn’t do any real analysis. I just picked my favorites: Apple because I love their products, NVIDIA because I love gaming, and Tesla because I love how it looks.

Still, seeing that green number next to my total balance feels amazing.

Every time I open the 영웅문S 글로벌 app, I feel like I’m peeking into another world — one where my choices actually matter.

I don’t understand everything yet, but now I want to.
