This entry is hard to start. Not because of money — because of everything that happened earlier this year.
During junior year, I met a girl who I genuinely believed might be my last love.
When we broke up, something inside me completely collapsed.
From February to June, I didn’t check my stocks or crypto even once.
I didn’t want to.
I didn’t have the strength to care.
Around late February, before everything fell apart emotionally, I had taken $50,000 out of my stock profits to invest in crypto.
To free that cash, I sold part of my biggest position — 416 shares of NVIDIA — since it had grown the most.
So I kept 584 NVIDIA shares in my stock portfolio, and the remaining $50k went into Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Ripple.
Then the breakup happened.
And I stopped checking everything.
Today — June 17, 2025 — the first time I checked again
I expected nothing.
But the moment I logged into Upbit(업비트), everything was green.
Bright green.

Even though I ignored it for months, the crypto I bought blindly because of my uncle’s advice had grown nearly 40%.
Then I opened my stock portfolio — which also had been untouched since winter.

So even after removing $50,000 for crypto, the remaining stocks still grew over $93,000.
Combined Portfolio (Stocks + Crypto)
$206,683 (stocks) + $69,676 (crypto) = $276,359 total
Total lifetime gain: +$113,359
When I saw all of this — after months of feeling lost and empty — I felt something I hadn’t felt in a long time:
Relief.
Not because of the money itself.
But because it reminded me that even when I was falling apart, life didn’t stop.
Some things were still growing.
Some things were still moving forward.
And maybe…
maybe I could too.
This didn't magically erase the heartbreak.
But it was the first sign that not everything in my world was breaking.
Something was still working.
And for the first time in months, I felt a little lighter.
